Platform Usage Guidelines

These Platform Usage Guidelines govern the permitted use of the NomadWorks platform by all Users, including companies, private individuals, Clients, employers, Handymen, and service providers.

By accessing or using the Platform, all Users agree to comply with these Guidelines.

1. Role of NomadWorks

NomadWorks acts solely as the operator of the technical platform and is not a party to any agreement concluded between Users.

NomadWorks accepts no responsibility or liability for employment relationships, service or work contracts, the provision or quality of services, payment arrangements, accommodation provided by Clients, working conditions, compliance with employment, tax, immigration or social security laws, or any legal obligations arising between Users.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Accurate Information

Users must provide complete, accurate, and truthful information at all times.

Prohibited:

  • fake or duplicate accounts
  • false identities or impersonation
  • misleading or fraudulent job listings
  • false qualifications, licenses or certifications
  • manipulated or fake reviews
  • inaccurate company information
  • misleading descriptions of working conditions, salaries or accommodation

3. Lawful and Permitted Use

The Platform may only be used for lawful purposes.

Permitted use includes:

  • legitimate job advertisements
  • lawful service opportunities
  • professional profiles
  • respectful communication
  • genuine reviews based on actual experiences
  • networking between Clients and Handymen

4. Prohibited Content and Activities

Users must not publish or engage in content or activities that:

  • violate laws
  • discriminate
  • contain hateful, abusive, pornographic or extremist content
  • involve fraud or scams
  • facilitate illegal employment
  • infringe third-party rights
  • contain false employment promises
  • promote illegal goods or services
  • constitute spam

Automated data collection, scraping, bots, crawlers, hacking, reverse engineering, manipulation of the review system, bypassing security measures, and introducing malware are also prohibited.

5. Reviews

Reviews must be based on genuine first-hand experiences. Fake reviews, abusive content, threats, extortion and knowingly false statements are prohibited.

NomadWorks may review, moderate, restrict, edit, hide or remove reviews. Users have no entitlement to publication or permanent availability of reviews. Fees already paid are not refundable when content is removed due to violations unless required by law.

6. Obligations of Clients, Companies, Employers and Private Individuals

Clients, companies, employers and private individuals agree to:

  • publish only lawful opportunities,
  • provide accurate information regarding compensation, accommodation and working conditions, and
  • comply with all applicable employment, tax, immigration and social security laws.

7. Obligations of Handymen and Service Providers

Handymen and service providers agree to:

  • provide accurate information regarding qualifications and experience,
  • comply with applicable laws, and
  • obtain all required licenses, registrations and tax obligations.

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

NomadWorks may monitor content and take actions including removing content, suspending Listings, restricting functions, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting suspected unlawful activities to competent authorities where appropriate.

9. Reporting

Users are encouraged to report illegal or inappropriate content using the reporting tools provided. Knowingly submitting false or abusive reports is prohibited.

10. Safety and Prohibited Practices

NomadWorks is committed to providing a safe, respectful and trustworthy environment.

Strictly prohibited are:

  • human trafficking
  • forced labour
  • labour exploitation
  • child labour
  • unsafe working conditions
  • discrimination
  • harassment
  • illegal work requests
  • misleading information regarding accommodation, wages or working conditions
  • requesting unlawful upfront payments from applicants
  • any activity that places Users at unreasonable financial, physical or psychological risk

Users should exercise reasonable caution and report dangerous behaviour. NomadWorks may remove content, suspend Users and report matters to competent authorities where appropriate.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, graphics, software, databases, text, photographs and other content are protected by intellectual property laws. Copying, reproducing or commercially exploiting Platform content without permission is prohibited.

12. Amendments

NomadWorks reserves the right to amend these Guidelines at any time. The latest version will always be published on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
